now, where am I again?

So – had massage.

Came out of spa to see enormous glacier.
Grabbed bathers and jumped in the nearest hot tub to watch us float past. Can’t complain about that afternoon.

Eventually had to go back to the room to prepare for formal night.
Seeing the whole VIP crew frocked up was fairly insane.
Having spent a week with everyone in jeans and tracksuits the formal wear was an eye opener.

Cocktails (again) in the Elite lounge – reserved for VIPs and us.
– The mojitos on board are not quite as good as the ones on shore.

After cocktails we headed over to the Italian restaurant for dinner. Amazing food – had prociutto, shared appetizers, lobster 3 ways and an amazing layered nut napoleon cake for dessert.

After dinner Ana decided it was karoke night.
Unfortunately we arrived at the bar for the last song. Eventually we convinced the karoke mistress to let us get up for a group rendition of ‘I Will Survive’ – luckily no fold back and we were all too drunk to notice the audience’s reaction.

Band came on next and we all eventually ended up dancing.

Then it was time for the DJ session – Robin had spoken to him and created  a playlist which he insisted on hearing.

So we had Australian DJ and DJ napkin.
Aust DJ added in Down Under and Beds are Burning for the Australians in the crowd while DJ napkin came up with some brilliant numbers.

The stayers danced for what seemed like hours until we were all kicked out.  Someone had an idea of going out on deck – it was wet, cold and dark. Somehow it was still hilarious, even after security showed up to bring us back inside.

Party pretty much ended there.
