Thursday night – cocktail party with the Captain at 7pm.
Another photo opportunity. At least no one was wearing a costume this time.
After cocktails it was time to head to the Bayou steak house for dinner.
Samples of the meat were presented to show the size of the different cuts. Unbelievable. The smallest cut resembled a roast.
Robin went for the New York, Ana the tenderloin. I decided I had enough red meat over the last couple of days and went for the gumbo.
Nice. The sweet potato pie for dessert was also good, but the clear winner was the bread and butter pudding with caramel sauce and pistachios.
Everyone was fairly tired so it was an early night all round.
I wasn’t quite ready to hit the sack yet so I wandered around the decks for a while – cold night, but it was nice just walking.
