What sort of wedding are you?

You may recall me saying that we were going to take the planning one step at a time, nothing to happen until the ring was purchased etc. etc.

Then I started planning a little bit, and I confessed that the venue research was doing my head in.

The last couple of days have included some more in depth research and some more obscure options.

There are definitely a lot of  lovely venues out there so we had to start narrowing down what we wanted.

My fiance (he he) is very keen on something personal (not cookie cutter) with music and a warm, party atmosphere.

I want somewhere ‘rustic’, warm and relaxed, but still classy.

I need to thank the lovely Mrs M for the following link:

and The Rustic Garden Party for this one:

Nice to know there are others out there like me.

Just heard back from the current favourite venue – not available on preferred dates, over budget, but still very very tempting.

We will see…on to the next one.

  1. Finding a venue is tough!! Everything is just so expensive….But keep looking! you’re find something soon! We booked ours during “off season” it’s much cheaper and much easier to land your ideal venue 🙂
